AlmaLinux 10.3 Beta "Mauve Lion" is now available for all supported architectures, and voting in the 2026 board election is open through October 2nd.

Nominations for the 2026 board election are open until September 8th, we hosted the first AlmaLinux Day: LA, the Microsoft 2011 Secure Boot certificates have expired and AlmaLinux users are covered, and the Media & Entertainment SIG shows off the AlmaLinux Creative Installer.

AlmaLinux Day: LA 2026 is July 18th and the speakers have been announced, AlmaLinux OS is now Common Criteria certified, patched kernels are out for Januscape, Bad Epoll, and IPV6_FRAG_ESCAPE, and you have until July 16th to join the foundation and vote in the rescheduled election.

AlmaLinux 10.2 and 9.8 are now available, patched kernels for CIFSwitch, ssh-keysign-pwn, NGINX Rift, and Fragnesia are in production, AlmaLinux Day: LA 2026 is July 18th, and our rescheduled election is coming soon.
